i want to design my base of my tree to be uiniform with the top based on the height compared to the half moon shape the lights connect to, does anyone have a formula for calulating the best base size based on the height and the arch radious of the top connections ?

There is the infamous 2 to 1 ratio. (Definately not always followed.) Twice as tall as wide (at the bottom).
