Is my F-amp bad

So does any know if there is a way to test a f-amp without a f-tester? I have a string of lights that is out and I have checked the string and my extension that runs to it and they both work. I have also checked the fuse for that port also and it is good.

The way I would test the f-amp and put it between the controller and a known working prop to see if it still works or not. This will tell you if it is passing data and power enough to still drive the prop.

No, you would need a signal generator and oscilloscope - basically look at signal in vs signal out.
