Not sure if I'm using the right stuff or if im using it just incorrect but doesnt look like its going stay. Any tips or tricks to secure these conduit mounts. I'm guessing i just need to clean the surface better and use more? I reckon im better off using that black double side industrial tape.

It will totally stay, give it 24hrs and you will be solid as.

yep wait at least 24hrs and it will be fine. Mine usually last 3-4 years before needing replacing

When I did mine I just did a big blob of silicone and put the clip straight into it (I didnt use brackets like you did). Held up pretty good, as others have said make sure you leave minimum 24 hrs if not longer
