Hello everyone. Hope your Halloween shows are going strong. I have a differential receiver that has a bad network/ethernet/RJ45 port. It’s not a big deal because the other one works fine. I think it just got corroded in storage. I’ll make sure to add a little dielectric grease to the pins this year before they get put away. But my question is, can I just buy a new port and solder it in place. I’m sure that’s possible but I didn’t know if there has to be a specific type of port or are they one size fits all. I saw some on amazon but not sure if the pins are all in the same place. I’d look but my show is currently running and I don’t want to tempt fate by messing with it.
