We recently opened up DIGWDF's "vault" of ideas and products to the DIY lighting community, and here's the link to get to them. Bear in mind that we tried to create products with a bare minimum of components, and while they worked fine, they should not be considered models of high-quality electronic engineering. Our main products were wireless, small channel count controllers (one channel, four, five, eight channels) in supporting our concept of using multiple smaller controllers instead of only one or two "big" ones; the idea being that if you use a big controller, if it goes down, a big portion or even all of your display goes down, too. With small channel count controllers, if one goes down, most of your display is still operating. Anyway, here's the link:

I couldn't find one but registration is painless and free at diychristmas.org.

The site had an email issue a few days ago. I'll check on it....

I released about 6 or 7 activation emails going back to 1/14. If you're still missing it, let me know what user name you used and I'll make sure your account is activated. I apologize for the problem!!!

If you can for mine - @Mark_M on there. I tried with a 2nd email and it still didn't work. Password reset email went through fine though.

@dirknerkle Would be nice if you would post a paragraph on what these things even are before making people jump through all these forum accounts that don't work hurdles.

If you don't know @dirknerkle or his work...he is a prolific inventor from the early 200x and 201x who was mainly working with incandescent and LED string controllers. Most had been adapted for some version of wifi. (I think he said that in post #1) Here are two avenues to documentation (I didn't login to view).

Thanks for the links but they all return '

You don't have permission to access this resource.'

Yep, I have absolutely no idea what this thread is about. I assume DIGWDF is an acronym for something but I can't work out what for??
I also have the same issue as Daryl above, forbidden access to whatever it is you're linking.

Hmmmm.... I'm baffled how so many are having trouble accessing the site.... and I apologize -- so instead, I'll just upload the gerbers and Diptrace source file here. I tried to upload the user guides as well, but the file is apparently too large.... I'll have to come up with something else for the documentation...

A big "thank you" to Mike Krebs for his explanation.... yes, DIGWDF was an acronym for "Dirknerkle's Inventorium and Generally Worthless Device Factory." Most of our gear centered around AC lighting, but we produced things for the DC world, too. And almost all of everything was either wireless or some sort of adapter that could make other controllers wireless. We closed our store at the end of 2018 because of the interest shift to pixels as we had no interest in designing "me-too" products and the world already had plenty of pixel controllers.... (BTW, http:///digwdf.org is running on a server in my home as a file repository for the old store, and you may get a "forbidden" message as my ISP is the xFinity network and their security system is quite a piece of work to decipher... and it's not well suited for 3rd party servers....)

DIGWDF Documentation - I had to break the "all docs" file down into individual zip files.

DIGWDF Documentation - continued

And one smaller additional file since the forum limitation is 6 attachments per post....

Please Note: You will find that there are several additional files in the "gerbers" and "dips" archives that are not covered by documentation. We included several experimental designs and gerbers that were actually either not produced or not tested. But each of the products that were actually released included user documentation and you can't find documentation for a set of gerbers or the Diptrace design files, then that was an experimental project.

BTW, since in America our electrical power is based on 110/115 vac, the component values of our products were based on that standard. Converting to 220/230 v shouldn't be too difficult.
