Does anyone else have issues with glands coming undone constantly my PG seven’s for pigtails are always coming undone from the boxes. And if you found a fix, what is it?

i haven't experienced that, but it can be tricky to get all the different parts tightened up, especially if you have them tightly bunched.

you could try a dab of hot glue to stop them backing out?

Yea. I’ve tried the hot glue. More than a dab in fact. They still come out. I’m hard on them but like they all pull out. I’m thinking of trying MEK

Undone how? I'm not exactly gentle and have been known to hold a few of my lighter boxes by the glands and have only had issues with a couple of them. How are you tightening them up? I find my hand strength might not be enough sometimes and used wrench which seemed to get them just right. I'm not sure I would trust hot glue in cold climates and I've had it break freeze in under 40 degree weather from plastics.

They just come undone at the nut. I hand tighten. I've wrenched it. I'm know to grab them by the cords too, but they come undone even before that, just in jostling cords to connect them. It might be a brand issue, but it's super annoying. Like 30% of mine have come off.

I've put put a small "Dab" (amount) of Epoxy glue on the thread when tightening up.
It acts like a 'thread locker'. Its keeps mine in place.

try using actual thread locker on the thread ?
but the glands i use here in australia, are from cabac , and once tight, i never have issues, its more they seem to lock on and are actually harder to remove if needed later on

Most glands have a flat side... I've jut been 3d printing a shim that goes on the inside of the box that has all the holes in the right place and has the flat side modeled in.

Started doing that cos every time I went to undo the network cable it'd spin round instead of releasing the two tabs on the waterproof housing

That’s a good call
