Alright my veteran Pixel people.I know seeds are relatively new but I'm still hoping someone has an answer. I was putting my 1 inch spaced seed pixels onto my matrix last night and noticed that there's always 1 extra light at the end of each row because 1 inch is so small. I was talking to a buddy and we both were wondering if these extra lights are going to throw off the entire image on the matrix? If anyone has dealt with this issue with seeds, please message me with the remedy. I've attached pictures and a video below.

Also I wanted to let anyone know... if you purchased the 1 inch spaced seed pixel Matrix that looks like the last picture. It will not take 1 inch spaced seed no matter what. You have to use 2 inch spaced seeds. The company advertised that it will work but that was a lie. You have to get .95 or smaller spaced holes. You can comment or message me and ill tell you the company.

Lots of thoughts.

With regard to the matrix on the left:
The simplest thing to do is to just leave the end 2 pixels loose and not tell xLights that you did anything at all. Everything will be fine except that the pixels at the end of the row won't quite be in line with the rest, your viewers won't care.
The harder/perfectionist thing to do is to make a custom model for the matrix with the extra pixels represented, and then make a stranded submodel that lights just the ones you want. Use that submodel for all effects and groups. It will work like a perfect matrix, extra pixels will be dark.

With regard to the choice of 1" spaced seeds, I use 2", that allows more gaps. This is very convenient when doing something like your second matrix and you can alternate nodes, but would be a real pain with the left matrix I suppose.

I am curious on the company. I get my own matrix custom made and use 7/8" spacing. If you want I keep all the SVG files and javascript code for making matrix panels in my github.
