Anyone have suggestions for 12v DC strobes? Looking to hook up to a DLA MR16

Thanks

Sorry, I have no idea what a DLA MR16 is, but the strobes in the following post can be run from 12V. I assume the MR16 is some sort of controller?

These are a 3W LED stobe and I drive them from a renard controller via a standard DC-SSR controlling 12V DC. The renard and SSR switch the strobes on and off according to the lighting sequence.

In the above configuration you do not need the PIC microcontroller to control the strobe. If you want them to strobe by themsleves you will need the PIC. If using 12V you will need a separate 5V power supply to drive the PIC. The links on the board allow for a separate 5V power supply for the PIC.

The small heatsink fitted the star LEDs is OK for intermittent use. If you wish to have them on for a long period of time (Say more than 10-15 seconds per minute) they will need a suitable heat sink.

It sounds a bit complicated but I can send more details if you think these would be useful.
