Hi,
Well started putting up stuff today. The first part is my controllers and power supplies. I have a different setup to most, as I have everything in a central location, just outside my front door. I am of the old school when doing shows etc to be able to have all control items in a central place so I can see that it is operating, as well increase security and also piece of mind having the gear not exposed to the elements. The longest run I have is 10m for standard RGB and 5m for the pixels. It also comes in handy when running the show because if there is an issue I can fix it withough having to go out the front.
I have 4 banks of 4 power supplies, which I modified a slim plastic box to mount in. This are located at the top, primarily for safety so no one touches the dreaded 240V. I am running 18 Ray Wu controllers, 3 x P2 controllers and 1 D2. Pic Below.
.
I have 4 x 15 amp power points installed in this space, as well as HDMI, Network cable feeds etc which run back to my studio.
I also finshed a new fusebox which is up and connected. This conectes to the power supplies and has 28 fuses for all the powerfeeds I need for the pixels.
In all this year I am running about 7,500 channels in total this year.
I am going to update as I go with my setup.
I also have a Facebook page here which I also regularly update
