Hey guys just through I would make a post of my build so I know what I need to do and what I have completed

• Mega tree - completed
• Mega tree star
• 4 x arches - completed
• 4 x mini spiral trees 1 of 4 complete
• Gutter line - complete
• Rooflines - completed
• Window outlines - completed
• Pixel spinner
• 2 x stars
• F16 controller box - 50%
• 2 x differential receiver boxes - 1 of 2 complete
• Fence lines - possible 2019
• Sequencing

Quick update
Roofline is now complete, was a bad solder on the end of the pigtail.

Window outlines are completed

4 x arches are now built


Started building mini spiral trees

What have you attached the strip to for the spiral trees? i have been trialing a few different methods.

Hi can you us smart rgb sw2811 12v as dumb rgb

Hi Ross,
Your question might be better placed in the RGB section.
If you have RGB pixels but no controller you could maybe use a pixel tester to control them as a temporary measure? Hanson Electronics sell them for $5.50, so it’s a cheap alternative, you come also power the pixel tester with one channel of your DC RGB controller.
