2801 v 2811

HI all just opened up my light order for this year and realised I goofed!
I have 1 string of these http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/IP68-DC12V-input-12mm-through-hole-LED-channel-letter-RGB-color-100pcs-a-string/701799_522236867.html which I think are 2801's - 4 wire. Meant to order 2811 version.
So Question 1. How hard to use instead of 2811's using a P2?.
Q2 if a pain (everything else is 2811) then?????
Q3 any one interested in 1 x String of the above for sale!!!!!!

Going off the description they aren't even 2801 Boof. they are just RGB dumb strings.
These would be the ones you meant to order.

That link is for RGB strings, so neither 2811 or 2801. so using the P2 cannot occur, without another controller

You could use them with one of the Ray Wu boards or AVD48, Mega60 etc.

Obviously you couldn't get pixel control of them but you could use 1 of my 2811DC15 boards to drive them from a P2. I can't actually think of an application that would suit this style of light though but imagination is pretty limited

I use RGB in my mega tree for the star and props under the tree. I use one of DA's boards like AAH's that converts pixel data into RGB.
