3D Printer

Just ordered our first 3D printer. Decided on Replicator 2 due to 0.1 mm minimum step height so we should get reasonable smooth surface.

Last night I put together a BOM for a Prusa i3, which should come in at about $600 with an achievable resolution of 0.1mm. Certainly not as turnkey as the makerbot but the fun (and pain) is in the journey!

I would love to have one to make some things with.
