Hi,

I have made the following

12 strands of 2811 smart pixels, 1.5 metres in length, have been attached to that they are all running vertical 30 mm apart in a half circle.

All the strands takes 4 universes, using a Pixlite 4.

I have four of these built identical.

Designed to be joined one on top of each other, 6 metres tall.

Trying to design it in Xlights, so I can sequence,

One way of thinking of this is having 4 Mega trees one on top of each,

They are seperate sections, but want the effects to be seem less when going from top to bottom, or sideway

Any help in creating the model would be appreciated

Create a model for one , then duplicate into 4 models changing the start channel number.

Group the 4 models into a Model group.

You can then drop effects on each model or at the group level.

(I did not understand what each will look like ie a circle, tree or matrix ?)

Hi Gerry,

Thanks for the feedback.

The design was put so I could easily put it up and take down. Each part, 4 of them.

The concept was to look like a trunk of a skinny tree, 6 metres tall.

The effects to go the full height, for example, have text start at the bottom, one letter at a time and go up to the top, or an effect, a burst of colour to the top or vice versa.

Hope this gives an idea of what I am trying to achieve,

So would each model be a 180 degree tree then ? Or maybe a matrix ?
(you can do both if you wish )

The rest of my post ie grouping them in a Model group still applies.
