9 strips together....is this even possible

I am looking to use 9 basic rgb strips as moodlighting. I need them all to change color at the same time. My question is using the products listed below is it possible to connect it together like this.

I know it will require power injection around every 15 feet. Can you use the same 12v power supply to power all nine strips and the controller and amplifier. Thanks for taking the time to help me. Everyone has already been a big help.
 
9 strips will draw roughly 27Amps which equates to 324 Watts, you would need 2 possibly 3 12V power supplies rated to 350 Watts to power the 9 strips, not sure what the amplifier does....
 
This is my understanding of how to go about it.

You need:

PSU1 -- LED Controller PSU2

The first PSU is powering the led controller and AMP1 the second PSU is only powering AMP2.
The RGB output of the led controller goes to both the RGB inputs of AMP1 and AMP2
AMP1 and AMP2 RGB connects to the 4 and 5 led strings respectively

You will not be able to connect the strings together as the voltage loss will be too high after 5 meters.
The solution is to use some of 4 wire cable like this (http://electriciansupplies.com.au/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=26_70&products_id=876) to connect to the start of everystring direct from the AMPs

Does that make sense?

Each amplifier can handle 24amps and the PSUs can output 29amps
The light strings are 3amps for 1 string (5m)
so 4xStrings = 12amps and 5xStrings = 15amps

That should give you heaps of room to add more strings if you require it.

Thanks puffy for the explanation. Ill give it a try and let you know how it works out. Thanks eddy for keeping me on track. How do I go about contacting Ray to get a better deal on shipping. When I order everything it comes up to like $180 shipping.
 
Do a spread sheet with pictures, description, links, price and quantity you want, go into chat and talk to ray and tell him you want to do combined shipping and send him the spread sheet asking for a pro-forma invoice. He will ask if you want to pay through pay pal or through escrow and then send you an invoice with the combined shipping and total cost.
