So, my wife would like me to create lawn lights, and under-the-eave lighting where she can control the color of the lighting. My mind started spinning! I'm thinking about retrofitting some solar lawn lamps with 2801 pixel modules, and possibly stringing them under the eaves, maybe spaced at 7-10 feet. I'll have to experiment of course... Here's my question: I understand how to wire up these with a dmx controller, which I do plan to ensure I can do for the holiday show, but in the of season, I'd like to plug in a standalone controller that would allow me to encode solid, but separate colors for each pixel. Animation is not essential. I know I'll need a power supply. At first glance, I saw these: pixels Controller: Am I on the right track or am I looking at this completely wrong?
