Sounds like a day to me.

Depending upon dates and stuff, but I should be able to attend given enough time to organise kid sitters.
Vixen 3 sounds interesting (currently use 2.1), and the other topics sound good too.

We would love to be there.....fantastic to share ideas and learn from others who have been doing lights longer than us.

I propose A date of the 23 or 24 June as I will be in Adelaide returning home from the Brisbane mini
I would be happy to give some presentations to fill in if that helps ( I am not the expert) I am sure that I would be allowed to use the 2011 (or if he comes the 2012) presentation that Fast Eddy gave in Brisbane and could bring some bits with me, I think that there is enough people in Adelaide who could do little segments and you will find that the day will not be long enough
For example
SmartAlec could demonstrate Vixen soft wear and Show us Renard boards I think and if he is intrested
Ryan could give some LOR and LOR S3 soft wear Demo
I could talk on LSP, Pixels, DR4, pixad8 and E1.31
Me, Ryan and Alec or other volunteers could talk about
Networking, dc vs ac, conectors, a small workshop on soldering and cat5 lead making And heaps more
So I think the content would not be hard to find
And an offer of a venue is great and a small fee for tea coffee and a light lunch is all that is needed
lets start getting this off the ground the first step is the date so lets set one

Not that i would know, I didn't go to our Mini.
BUT it's not hard to fill in a day when your talking about 3 types of controllers and software.

Hope this gets off the ground now there are sooooo many new people down there in South Australia and you have the support of all of us.

The 23rd or 24th of June suits me. How about we roll with one of those days for now? Then we may get people coming out of the woodwork with topics they want to learn or teach.

I could bring my EDM transmitter as well, among some of us we've got all different transmitters. deblen for example has the Fordrary transmitter (no longer sold), regencyxmas has a 1Watt Ramsay unit from the USA with ACMA licence.

I could probably show how to get the LOR visualiser working in LOR S3 as well including the optional yet necessary LOR reference file feature. Perhaps someone else could show the basics of LOR sequencing for people new to decorating (this hasn't changed enough from S2 to apply to all current LOR users).

So lets role with the 23rd/24th of June 2012 as a working date for now.

I'd be interested in attending, and luckily, 23/24 June is a free weekend for me - I have another passion that keeps me busy right through Winter.

Yes the mini is booked in for Saturday June 23, 2012.

Now that there is a locked in date, it would be great to start to get confirmation whether people would like to attend or not.

Please do think about some topics you have an interest in and would like to speak about or demonstrate. Else we might have to dob some people in on the day! :D
