I was definatly thinking of this style for the weight factor aswell 👍, is there a receiver or expansion board that’s compatible with the piCap V2 to add these on? or should I just upgrade the whole controller?
 
From a controller standpoint — they are all standard ws2811 pixels. So your old controller should work. (I guess just keep an eye out for max # of pixels per port and things like that)

Great, so each port can take say 800-1000 pixels I think? and at 20% brightness that should be fine?
