Good Day All

In the spirit of this thread: I have been putting up Christmas lights for over 40 years. I started with a pure incan show that made it on to the local news a few times and had a few traffic problems (the stretch party limos could not make the turn into our street without setting back). About 10 years ago I started switching to LEDs and 5 years ago made a major switch to pixels. I now have about 14000 pixels, 3 RPIs, four F16s (V2 & V3), a smattering of ESPixel Sticks, an EDM transmitter and too much light to be able to take a video. I still have some AC props and my Ren64 will always have a place in my show.

I am a regular contributor on some of the other sites, and was directed to this site as a possible source for some information.

I will be visiting my Daughter for Christmas this year. She lives in the Lower Hut area in New Zealand. I was wondering if there are any members living within about an hours drive of Lower Hut. I would love to see a few displays while celebrating the holidays.

Welcome to ACL Martin.
Yes there is plenty of info on the site but sounds like you could teach us a thing or 2 from your years of experience! It's a great friendly site for sharing info so feel free to show off your display and any new creations you may have.

Thank You. I will be sure to post here as well as on the DIYChristmas sites. We regularly send people to this site to look at the wiki for the 101 doc. It is one of the best primers out here.
