Anyone got a 10W RGB flood and programmer?

The topic of dmx floods came up in chat and it was suggested that it's necessary to use

I was wondering if the app that SBDJ wrote and is linked to on http://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki/Software#LED_DMX_Module_Address_Programmer (direct link http://www.sbdj.co.uk/dmxmodule/ ) would work.
If anyone has the floods and can do some testing and post the results on whether that little app can change the address it would be appreciated. If it does I'll edit in the info into the wiki.

 

I have that RGB Flood.
I don't have an open dmx FTDI usb dongle. (Using E1.31 so no need for USB dongles).

It is currently sitting in customs, waiting for me to pay, but I haven't got the damn bill yet, so am unable to pay the beauracrats. Very frustrating, Ray got it here in 2 days, but now my order will sit gathering dust for at least another 5 days.

At $15, I think it is a cost effective solution.

 

You guys have to pay GST (or equiv) on stuff you buy in from overseas?

Back on topic, I have a couple of these lights and a physical programmer. I would be happy to post them to you so you can play with them.

 

I'm really just after a yes or no on whether the software will program them. If it does then it will make it easier for anyone else who has them and gets more info into the wiki.

 

I have one at home and an Entec Open DMX. But I can't try until I get home on the 12th. Happy to do then.

Any/all of the dmx boards that come from China and don't have dipswitches is what I'm after info on.
