ASAP Pole Sr Weather

Hello. I just built an ASAP Sr pole. How do I store this thing for weather? I can’t store them inside since it’s super tall.

I was told by Walter who designed the pole that I can’t paint the inner 1.5” pole. So where I live by the beach I don’t want it to rust.

Any ideas??? Thx for your help.

Correct me if I'm off base here, but can't you use an oil to protect the inside pole(s) from salt-air?
Definitely would paint the outer pipe.

I just painted the outside of the pipe here. I store it outside all year with no issues. Don't sweat the small stuff
