I am all good. Lobbed up at 7:15 and got knocked out at 11:55. Surgery was a gnats whisker under an hour and I came out fine. Ward is so incredibly noisy I got a grand total of about ro minutes sleep last night. I finally gave up and wandered into the tv room at 4:15 and read until 8:30 when ENT resident shipped me back to the room. She disappointed me when she said I can't leave until the nose stops bleeding and the specialist has a bo peep in a few hours. She said a few hours but said after lunch :(

Great to hear you are well :D
Not so good to hear about the restless night. So what sort of recovery timeframe do they give you on the surgery?

Wishing you speedy recovery and hope all is well.
My Sinuses give me grief every Spring and during dry winters like the one we just had... so I feel for ya.

Glad it all went well Alan. From my experience of hospitals (broken bones), you never go there to catch up on sleep. Even when you do get sleep they wake you to take yours obs. Hope you get home soon. Any good looking nurses.

Glad everything went well, but if a sleepless night and a bit of noise is all you get to complain about, I don't think your allowed to complain haha. I'm sure the headaches were worse. Now you just have to Put your feet up and enjoy some daytime tv.

OMG the young female doctors and nurses there. Either I was more drug affected than I think or that's where all the rejects from Aussies Next Top Model end up :)

So this area where you were reading a book. Didn't just happen to be across from the nurses station did it.

Coincidentally it looks directly into the nurses station but as I was there during what is typically almost entirely the night shift when there is a lot less staff on I didn't have the win I could have had.

Glad to hear all went well. I know what you mean about the hospitals and sleeping. Dad's been in hospital for about 8 weeks now, and it's noisy all the time, and usually too cold. Anyway, hope the recovery time is short. All the best.
