I saw BigW had their 30V fairy lights reduced from $20 to $12 tonight. The larger $60 bucket was down to $39

Grabbed a few as empty space fillers, quite a bargain for the amount of light you get out of them!

If they are the 3-wire type then they can be used on a standard DC controller. If they are the 2-wire type you'll need to use a specialised controller such as this one.

I looked at some BIGW lights earlier this year and they were all two wire unfortunately, I've been unable to find any 3 wire strings other than at one of those 'cheap shops' (Hot Bargain or something like that) and they wanted $50 for a 200 light string :/

Noob question but 18 channel 2 wire 2 channel means what?
Is that 9 sets? And whats the 2 channel bit at the end?
