Sorry everyone, but all year i've been working on my light project and for the last six months i've been watching all the other noobies jumping with joy when there lights start flashing.
Well i was getting down abit cause i'd built all my equipment and purcheased dongles and no blinky flashy.
That was until today when i bought a very expensive dongle....and you know what happened than....
You guessed it....
I"VE NOW GOT BLINKY FLASHY

I cannot contain my excitment....
I'd like to thank so many people..

Please tell what sort was the expensive dongle that provided you with the blinky flashy result - I might need to buy one

Ended up buying a belkin usb serial adapter..part #F5U109.
I wanted to use it on my new computer with windows 7 but no go.
It did work on my old laptop with XP
Trying to update driver with net downloads.

Will let you know how i go.
