Just noticed today at my local Bunnings (Cranbourne VIC) the below speakers at the front of the store at $25 a pair.
They are outdoor speakers that are:
* Water resistant (not waterproof - so hidden under a makeshift enclosure would probably be fine)
* UV Stabilised
* can handle 120W max
* 6Phm Impedance
* Frequency Response 60Hz-20KHz
I just bought 2 sets - one for my display next year (already planning ahead!) and one for my Mum who has a new outdoor area. May not be in every store but thought I'd mention in case any of you were looking for something to add to your last minute Xmas wish lists!!
They also had round in ceiling/wall versions too - but all look to be white in colour.
