Cable size for mega tree

Putting up a smaller mega tree (13 feet tall including star at top ) and was wondering what size cable to use for the guy wires
Also, has anyone used a strong type of rope instead of wire cable ?

That's about the size of my megatree. Pretty sure I used only 1/8 in stainless steel wire rope. It's in the garage buried under a bunch of stuff. It was no larger then 3/16 for sure. I live in the Midwest in the Chicagoland area.

I use a similar size wire, I think it's 4mm which is a tiny bit larger than 1/8"
