Calculator for Power Supplies - Validation Needed

I would like some feedback on this spreadsheet please. Any validation will be appreciated as I am a Noob, albeit and old Noob.


It would seem that I can find lots of calculators on the Interwebs that calculate power stuff, but none that tell you how many power supplies you will need for the number of lights you have to power.


I'll be certain that I'm not the first to stumble across this, this so any feedback will be appreciated, even if I didn't look in the right places to find the work someone else has already done.

are you going to run your pixels at 100%... some display run at 50%.


spreedsheet looks about right for pixels at 100%

Wasn't considering that anything less than 100% was going to be used in the calculations to avoid any mistakes and I forget to change the setting from 100% to a lower value.

Most people derate their power supplies to 80% of their maximum output and that's probably a good idea for the cheaper power supplies out there.
