Candy Canes - Do you paint them?

Hi All,

I am creating my own candy canes out of Coro.

Ive done some singing light bulbs, painted them (with Fiddly Bits spray paint from Bunnings - works great with Coro) and they turned out so good.

However, the questions I have with the candy canes...
1) Do you paint them (like with stripes or stripe pattern?
2) If you do, what pattern do your like to paint them?

I have tried 2 designs I have found online (one pattern similar to https://corographix.com/products/candy-canes), and they came out "ok", but before I spray paint 12 of them, I just want to make sure what other patterns people use.

Thanks,
Rob

Use what ever design you like... It is after all your display.
Mine look like this:

I painted mine , like the above. My kids like the props to be painted, it does give the display even when off an xmas feel to it.

Thanks for replying.... I like all that you have done. Simple, yet elegant. I have seen some displays that are just the white coro but that is too plain for my liking. Gives me some ideas. Much appreciated.

I do not have candy canes but will have them painted when I do. I'm trying to have more decorated props available for during the day in the yard. The house is another matter at the moment.
