Answered Controller Tab "Frozen "

Hi All,
Recently moved everything to new laptop.
Unfortunately everything in the Controller Tab has now frozen.
Red Dot is on, but I cannot make any changes to the details shown to Save.
Any help would be appreciated.

Red dot just means it thinks it can't reach the controller, green would mean it thinks it can.
What version of xLights is this? How did you open it? It's interesting that you can't add a controller either... Is there any chance it is open read only? What does the layout tab do?

Thanks for your response.
Xlights version is 2026.25. I updated xlights version when I transferred all data to new laptop.
Could you elaborate on what you mean by " how did I open it ",
( other than what the normal procedure is ! )
Also , how would I establish if it is " open read only " ?
I cannot see any issue with the layout tab.

Hi Merry,
Thanks for you time.
I deleted and reloaded latest update of xlights and problem is resolved.
Obviously a glitch in the loading process..
Technology is Great... until its not Great !!
