Controlling single color LED strip

You would control this using a DC controller like this from Ray

There are other options and smaller controllers available, so depending on how much strip you are using and what you want to do will determine the best fit

You can connect to a port of your ECG-P2 or to the end of a strip of pixels

Another easy option is to use my PI36 board. It has 36 DC channels and can connect to my 2801DC15 or 2801DC30 boards to add extra channels up to 510 channels I think it's set for in FPP. As the board is based around a Raspberry Pi running Falcon Player (FPP) then you can run your entire show with video, sound and lights off the PI.

Thanks for the responses. I figured any DMX controller would work but didn't realize a pixel type controller like the ECG2 would also work.

The ECG P2 controllers won't directly control your UV strips however they can send data to AAH's 2811DC controllers which can. I hope you understand that these strips can't run chases; they are either on, off or dimmed along their entire length.

You're right that DMX controllers will work.
