Hi,
I am planning to make some coro cutout props for my parent's 2025 christmas display in Melbourne and I am wondering if 8mm coro will be sturdy enough for this?

Some of the cutouts will have bullet addressable LEDS in them.

Will the 8mm coro from bunnings suffice, or should I try and get some 10mm from somehere?

thanks in advance :)

The 8mm stuff is what I use for my garage matrix panels. Very solid especially when compared to the 5mm Bunnings stuff. Having said that, being able to purchase black 5mm corflute. Both are reinforced with some 20mm and 25mm conduit in a rectangular frame.

I've been using 8mm for props for years as I couldn't get the 10mm stuff here (NZ) and it's been fine.

As above 8mm is plenty and especially if you consider the grain of the plastic and work with it, can do great stuff.
