Answered DMX from PiHats

I have the RPI28+ Pi Hat that can output DMX
can i use this instead of a DMX usb dongle ?
and how do i assign this in xlights

"Serial Port 1" in Visualiser maps to the DMX port.

The first answer is yes.
The second is what skymaster shows from the visualizer. There isn't really any configuration for DMX. It just is DMX.
