reading the specs here it is only supported by windoes XP and not windows 7, thats not saying there isnt driver for it.
Have you let windows search its online data base for the best driver, If you have and it finds nothing then you need to find out what the device is and then see if there is any win7 drivers available on the net. You may have to hook it up to a xp machine to see what driver it finds, once you know that then you can go looking for a driver.
Now the other issues is that there is limited info on this dongle and it may only work with the provided software, there is no mention of it being open DMX or DMX pro
You have ventured into uncharted waters and that would be one of the reasons for the lack of any responses, you are going to have to find out what it is first and what drivers it uses before we can help any further. Or ask Ray, he may have an idea.

Thanks Eddy. I might have to bite the bullet and get a dongle that is compatible with DMX. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks
Graham

The dongle used will depend on how many DMX universes you want.

If all you want is a single DMX universe and dont plan on having a great deal in the future then AVDs DMX dongle is a good choice for you

If you want more than one DMX universe or plan on using more than one DMX universe in the future then the ECG-DR4 is a great choice as it is a E1.31 to 4 DMX universe bridge. (Needs e1.31 software support which LOR currently do not have)

If you using LOR then you can use your LOR dongle for DMX output.

Graham,

Let's have a look at a couple of options on Saturday, this may become a little clearer then :)

I have some DMX dongles and some DR4's you can see.

Cheers
Phil

Hi Phil,
Thanks for that however I have been able to send the box back to Ray and have ordered an Open DMX from Audio Visual.
See you Friday night. Will bring some slices and wine.
