The processor you have is an entry level model meant for notebooks and netbooks, it will struggle on cpu intense applications as it has as low clock speed of 1.3ghz. however i think it would be worth checking your cpu activity using taskmanager. I think the cpu would be the bottleneck here. Just remember lsp will only access 1 core. It is common for domestic pcs to be running greyware or bloatware that can severly effect a pcs performance, particularly if its a rouge process. I would try and rule this out first. Also, try disabling your av whilst sequencing. Im just a newb to lsp but am a computer tech by day. Possible hard drive issues can manifest in performance issues too. If all is ok on the pc front then i guess we are dealing with a program that has a few efficiency issues. As ive just purchased lsp i will find out soon enough.

tried again this morning with looping the sequences and after first time through there was no delay between songs. i bought that cheap computer just as a machine to play the show and i do my sequencng on another... i just put a whole bunch of empty 10 min sequences and then when i'm ready to start the show i hit "advance to next performance"... kinda a pain because i'm running around doing other stuff but it will work for now....

heres what should happen and i'll use a Christmas light show as an example running 5 songs at the same time every night.

Pre-season- load the same show into scheduler for every night.

1st night, The very first time the show runs it will have delays in between the songs. every other night it won't.

your solution is load up the scheduler with your song list and have a dummy show the day before. then it will run fine as it did for all of us.

Do all your scheduling in one go and you wont have the problem.

I loaded last years show into the new PC and ran it through a little while ago. Last year I had a dual core laptop with 4GB ram. This years PC is an i5 3570K, 16GB Ram, 1TB HDD, Windows 7 64 bit, and it ran through with no delays, no pauses or anything.

So no you dont need a super computer, just a forgiving wife to allow you to "Upgrade" occasionally ;)
