ECG 12X String Configuration

I'm setting up my ECG 12X for my matrix. In my sequencing I have output 1 finishing at unv 10 channel 504, Then output 2 starts at unv 10 channel 505. If I set up the controller to start output 2 at unv 10 channel 505 with 168 pixels will it automatically go to unv 11 once the two remaining pixels in 10 are used.

Assuming it will automatically roll into unv 11. Will it give the third pixel unv 10 channels 511, 512 and unv 11 channel 1 or will it skip the 2 leftover channels in unv 10 and make it unv 11 channels 1,2,3.

Or do all the pixels on an output in an ECG 12x have to be within the one universe. Hope that middle bit makes sense. Thanks.
 
Have you had a look at the ECG config screen? You should be able to tell from that. I have an PIXAD8 and it's only one universe per output.
 
The config screen has three settings, universe, start channel and number of pixels. I was hoping that it would roll into the next universe if the number of pixels took it past the universe specified. Maybe not. Had better reconfigure my sequences if that's the case.
 
I know the controller can only have 1 universe per output. I was just hoping that it was 170 pixels (ie some pixels could be from consecutive universes) as opposed to all data being within the one universe.
 
keep em seperate, start with new universe for the matrix, the only thing you get with rolling along is a headache.
ie uni 11 - start channel 1 run to end of strings or when even strings finish
eg 10 strings x 150 pix setup as
u11ch1 - ch 450 = strings 1 & 2
u12 ch1 - ch 450 = strings 3 & 4
u13 ch 1- ch 450 = strings 5 & 6 etc........

I did fix it Boof63 but then had to pull that contoller off the matrix as I blew up my pixlite controller. I've got give up on the new matrix this year and use the controller to run the rest of my show.
