I'm stumped I'm trying to setup a new ECG P12S with Ray Wu's 12V WS2811 lights http://www.aliexpress.com/item/100pcs-DC12V-addressable-12mm-WS2811-led-smart-pixel-node-with-all-GREEN-wire-20AWG-IP68-rated/32278752933.html I can't even get a test pattern to run.

On K1 i've jumped V+ with VI and V0 with +5 for shared supply method, dip switch 4 is switched up. I have V+, Data & GND connected on two test strings of 50 pixels each. The strings are on P01 and P02. The arrows on the strings are pointing away from the controller as well. I used an ohm meter and I'm getting 12v on both P13 and P00. I also get 12v if I test on v+ and Gnd for both P01 and P02.

I can connect and configure the controller no problem.

For string config: My string type is set at WS2811, speed is set at 3500kbps, universe #1 and then #2, starting slot 1 and pixel count 50.

For Effect config: #01A 'Act' is checked and #02A 'Act' is checked. Start pixels are 1 and pixel count is 50 for both.

IPconfig: E.1.31 is enabled, UBL is enabled and TestPat is enabled.

Still no lights? Any help is appreciated.

Hi There,

Firstly I would check that you have wired up your lights correctly. Secondly Have you enabled output E1.31 in your controller? if you post a screen shot of your config we might see something that isn't quite right.

Here's my string config, effect config and IP Config

Well I think I've isolated the problem. I hooked up a pigtail that came with the lights from Ray Wu and voila they light up no problem so I have some wiring messed up somewhere on the pigtails from the board or the connection between the pigtails and the lights.
