ECG-P2 config

I received my ECG-P2 yesterday and am eager to play with it. I configured the jumpers for 12v in and 12v out asper the Quick Notes document. Does this controller need to be configured similar to the ECG P12R? If so, then how do I access it? I have tried 10.10.10.10. but no luck.

The Universal Boot Loader (UBL) will help make setting up the controller with your computer a much easier task

sweet i will be placeing an order this week for a ecg-p2,

but had one question/recommendations on the 2801 nodes whats better 12v or 5v I remember reading there was some issuse with power loss over long range. but please let me know what you recommend. im doing a mega tree with 32strings 42nodes per string, with a ECG-P2
