ESP mega tree

Does anyone know if I can make a mega tree using 6 strings of 50 node ws2812 seeds or bullet pixels. I would also like recommendations on power injection.

You can certainly make a tree of 6x50. Hesitate to call it mega at 300 nodes total.

You might not even need PI depending on the pixels. 12V bullets, for example, you just plug both ends of the string into power and you're good.

A lot of 5V seeds would need PI, so you would do that each time it returns to the bottom (or the top if you start at the top).

This is assuming you just want to make 1 string on 1 controller port. (It's only 300 so why not.) But you could also do 6 ports starting from the bottom, no power except at the bottom. (My first tree ever is done that way.)

This is true. It will change color, flash, twinkle, show up/down movement, do stripes and swirls, but no, it won't do images very well.
