F16V3 Powering Question

My understanding of the manual is that power connections for the Falcon must be either 5 or 12 volts which makes sense.
I will be running mainly 12 v pixels but also have 5v props as well so should i be powering the 5v directly to the props?
Also i have a couple of receivers on order from Daryl , can these be powered by either voltage?

You could always run one side 5v, one side 12v if you are careful not to get them confused (eg ports 1-8 a different voltage to ports 9-16). You can run the receivers at either.
