When I boot the falcon controller the oled screen stays on the "booting" screen.
I then have to complete a reset, setup the controller IP and settings.
Then then controller works ok until it turns off and back on.

Any ideas or help would great.

Thanks Matt

Did you update the firmware recently? Somebody had an issue with the SD card they used for the firmware update earlier in the week. Check the GB size from the user manual.

No. But I did just add another power supply.
I'll alternate the power supply inputs and see if that makes a difference.

Thanks BAZMick

if you are uploading from xlights, you might be uploading bad data that upsets it?
What is you factory reset it, configure it by hand then power cycle it?

Could you also try to power it with 5v from the Ext Pwr input ( don't forget the slide switch for Ext Pwr) and have nothing connected to any other ports or pwr inputs. Then config the address and try a power cycle?

Thanks Guys,
Tried swapping the power supply, no change.
I'll try and configure it manually.

Sound like a good candidate to package up an empty sequence and send it to Uncle Keith to check out why that's happening

The falcons are easy to get into a bad state with what you would think is valid data. I wouldn't blame xlights.

Might be worth dropping by Zoom to get one of the regulars to give it the once over to see if they can spot an issue in your xLights setup.
