HI im am really new on all this but think im slowly getting the hang on Xlights.

I recently purchased a Falcon controller setup (from this forum). this is my first adventure into pixel lighting.

i have created my lay out and have done a quick Animation sequence on 2 strings just to test it out, but unfortunately when i try to upload to the controller i get that dreaded msg Falcon input upload failed!.

I really could use this community's expertise on helping me get this up and running.

i have uploaded pics for references

    Thank you Regards ME :)

Huge thank you to the boys in zoom room. I really appreciated it.

Turns out I just needed to update the firmware on the falcon board

Lets post the solution here for the next guy. The F16v2R was running really old firmware- 1.06. We just upgraded to the latest firmware from pixelcontroller.com
