Falcon V3 Diff. Expansion

So, I’ve got my Falcon 16V3 controller and I added a Differential Expansion board. I also built a remote box for a Differential Receiver. The only receiver in stock was the Genius Receiver. I was able to get the Genius receiver working using the first serial port on the controller board. But I am not finding much help on the web or YouTube on setting up and using the Falcon diff expansion with a genius receiver. I tried setting the web interface a couple of different ways but can’t get the two receiver outputs to work correctly. The first port (17) seems to work, somewhat. But the second port (18) comes on all white when there is no data. I’ve attached a screenshot of the controller box (yes that’s plywood lol), receiver box, trees, and one of the port configurations I tried that didn’t work. By the way, test mode from the receiver works fine. And recover port 1 (17) on the config. Works from the test modes from the controller and web interface. Port 2 stays on and flickers during test modes upstream of the receiver.
Any suggestions or links to help would be appreciated.

I figured it out. So I disconnected the Diff expansion board and and plugged the receiver back directly into the serial port 1. I reconfigured the port settings and serial data settings. And I got the same white full on on port 2. Then it clicked. The only difference was that I made a short Cat5 cable for inside the box. My tester is broken so I just tested it by pinging another device with my laptop. Apparently the two wires for port 2 were crossed. I replaced the cable and reconnected/reconfigured everything and it works.

So, just in case someone sees this issue in the future. Trying swapping out the cat5 cable.

Glad you got it fixed. I was halfway thru reconfiguring my f16v3 with a smart controller to try and help you out. :)

Thanks. I was banging my head. I need to get my Cat5 tester fixed to keep that from happening again. Oh well, learning opportunities.
