First video of 2013 for me....

Here is a quick video my son put together in 30 minutes. We will be redoing the video soon... He used too many close ups of the minis..... Cant see all the transitions, fades or what not... Guess I should've watched over him..LOL

What do you expect for a 30 minute effort, still not bad for 30 minutes of filming and editing

An outstanding job of video editing. Very enjoyable to watch. I'm not sure if after 40 years of editing video I would have done such an impressive job. You can be very proud of your son's creative ability. I hope he wants to stay in this field down the road. He will do great.....

Thanks Eddy & Sully , I think he did a fabulous job making the video. The kid is a wizard with Media...... He runs every camera at our church, the first one he learned is the jib camera (the one that is on a arm with the weights). And is in photo journalism in school.. He has his heart set on being in video producing somehow. He was the production assistant on a short film our church did. ( The Henchman)

This was shot with a Cannon D60 (his) & an f1.4 24mm L series lens (churches) in manual focus.

I don't know the first thing with video.... Glad he does!

BTW .. what did you use on the roof line, windows, etc.?

Whole house are flat nodes, windows & vertical outlines are zip tied to PVC. Roof is all the white gutter clips or shingle clips from home depot. Tree is bullet nodes, zip tied to EMT.

Yes I used LSP. This was made in about 2 or 3 days of learning... was so far behind this year it wasn't even funny!

Great job, yes your son is a wiz with video's, would have taken me a day to do that.
