FPP on NUC with Debian 12

Trying to install FPP onto a NUC PC with debian 12 Loaded onto it
i can download the install file
but running the file it says errors in line 0 ,50,
has anyone else installed FPP onto a debian PC to use for a large virtual matrix ?
