FPP6 licencing and Hanson Electronics boards

Hi, I've managed to get the latest release deployed ok without a license key or eeprom serial on a RPI28D+ and Pi4.

I'm pretty new to this, so am not sure if a license is actually required or not.
But I've had no issue with deployment of the following with 200 pixels on 2 strings.





I basically booted the Pi without the cape first and installed a virtual eeprom, before shutting down and powering on with the hat connected.
(have no idea if that made the difference)

keys are not required for using that board as it as worked in the past.

Curious if anyone has a wiring diagram for what CaptianMurdoch suggests above. I have licensed mine and have the ports visible but would like to see if someone knows theway to wire them.
