Hi

I have purchase 3 coro singing trees, a baldrick 8 ready to go controller and necessary lighting from Hansen Electronics. I have uploaded the controller and trees to xlights, however and finding it overwhelming in the way of grouping these trees together and finding ready made sequences for the trees alone. I was wondering if there were any groups in Adelaide that get together that i could perhaps get involved with to help finish setting up my trees?

hey Kym,

Just the 3 trees and no other pixels?

Any sequence with a singing element should be able to work with them. I’m not sure you’d want to group them — but if you have a lyric timing track - you should be able to use the singing face effect referencing that timing track and get it displaying on your trees.

I’m not in ADL — but if you want to jump on a zoom call for 15 min at some point I can take you through it.

The xlights zoom room which is linked from xlights.org and also from within xlights is a great resource and allows screen sharing and users to help out. It's actually really easy to do and it will just need a few minutes for someone to show you what to do. Shoot me an email if you have no luck. I'm happy to help out via rustdesk remote assistance software if needed.
The basic setup is in the couple of pics below.

Thank you. I may take you up on that.

Thank you. That would be amazing. I bought my lights and controller from you. Im feeling a bit overwhelmed right now. I have watched videos and downloaded the 101 manual, but I think it may be a bit over my head.

Thank you that would be great. No, just the 3 trees to start with. But i think its probably a bit more over my head than I thought. I have watch videos and downloaded the 101 manual.

Hi Kym
I am new to this hobby having started my journey early this year and have not yet decorated the house with my pixels but are testing them in the shed. I am located at Strathalbyn and visit Adelaide at least once a week.
I use a Falcon controller so I'm not familiar with the Baldrick.
I don't have any Coro faces, I have put my faces on either the mega tree or one of my smaller trees - the principle is the same.
There are lots of free sequences on https://xlightsseq.com/sequences/ which use Coro or a mega tree for their faces and they are easily imported into Xlights. If you can't find a particular song that you want, you can generate a timing track using this site https://autolyrics.lightingfanatics.com. You upload the tune as mp3 and the words as text, wait several minutes and then download the file created.

If you would like any assistance I am happy to try to help.
