I have a few led items (net light and Christmas tree) that have 5 wires coming out of the MFC's, am I right in thinking that this will be the same as a 3 wire except there are wires for each individual colour? ie one common positive and the negatives are switched for the separate colours?

I have some 4 channel net lights that I run from a DC controller at 30V DC.
