Hi all

Finally bought some hardware 32 channels of 240v lights and 16 channels of RGB's

Now to do the sequencing with LOR software, where do you start to match the lights with the music and which lights when, any shortcuts.

There's no real shortcuts to sequencing, as I've found. :-[

dirknerkle has some good tips on getting the right 'feel': http://diychristmas.org/vb1/showthread.php?635-quot-ARGHHH-I-m-not-very-musical-and-am-having-a-lot-of-trouble-sequencing!-quot

Johns videos are a good start to LOR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mf9O-KiysA0&list=PLHNNQ2BrY3CGEX4LnEpUtbGdKBYgLASHa

As are LORs tutorials http://www1.lightorama.com/tutorials/

Map your channels.

Create your Visualizer model and map your channels to it - there's a guide in Help in the program and read the pdf on the LOR tutorials page (in the powerpoint section).

I found once I'd done that I could look at other people's sequences and then copy and paste into my layout. From there.... your on your own :D

100 days to go and I reckon I need about 200 days to finish sequencing :'(
