I'm curious what methods people are using to hang props on the side of their house IF they have vinyl siding (is that a common thing in Australia)?
I have used siding hooks in the past, but they are very limited in the amount of weight they can hold. Also a sturdy breeze can move them and dislodge them from the siding.
For some of my larger props I will be able to put screw eye hooks into ledger boards at some hidden points, then stabilize with wire.
When that's not possible though, I'd like to have a few different methods in my bag of tricks
The wind is blowing 40mph here in Pennsylvania and we're about to get clobbered with 12-18" of snow, so as I have a little time to sit around and ponder these issues
