Hi everyone,
Seasons greeting to one and all
I'm based in the UK, just outside the city of Birmingham. After seeing several light displays on Youtube, I thought I would have a go at my own display for the backend of 2021.
I was a programmer for 30 years and have been messing about with Arduino based hardware, on and off, for a few years now. But I certainly can't claim to be an expert.
I'm pleased to say, I've just got my first pixel string running, attached to a Wemos D1 R1 ESP8266 based controller, running Espixelstick v3.2. I plan to use xLights to sequence my display eventually. However, it's very early days and there's a lot of learning to do.
