Hi everyone, I got the bug a few years ago, but didn't know where to find the things I needed. I found ACL while searching for an Australian community rather than an American one where everything is the wrong voltage. I am a complete newbie to setting up light shows so any help about where to purchase equipment and software etc would be greatly appreciated.

You asked for advice.

Am a newbie this year. I use Vixen 3, one JS1 P12S, two DMX36, many strings of BigW and Bunnings LEDS and 1600 pixels (half from ray wu, half from cheaper suppliers). This is an expensive hobby - I did not budget for power supplies and cables. Start early.

The 101 manual is very good. For the rest get into chat. R
